Do you need a way of waking up your students' interest in their studies ? Although Colin George's presentations and workshops centre on Shakespeare, their content is not only applicable to those directly studying the dramatic arts. The universality of Shakespeare's genius is commonplace. Jane Austen wrote :'One gets acquainted with Shakespeare without knowing how - his thoughts and beauties are so spread abroad that one touches them everywhere.'
Colin George is no stranger to the world of Education. He was Head of Acting (English production) at the Academy for Performing Arts in Hong Kong for eleven years, where he also taught voice production ; he set up a Drama Department in Australia, and as Director there of The State Theatre of South Australia, among the students he engaged for their first professional two year contract were Philip Quast, Colin Friels, Judy Davies, and Mel Gibson.
